Did Daisy ever love Gatsby?
Very doubtful. I doubt Daisy is capable of love. She isnt even a good mother. Pax- C.
Reply:from the look of chapter 4 when jordan baker is telling nick carraway about daisy and gatsby's past it says that daisy was going to run away with gatsby but was discovered by her mother and the plan was put a stop to and then the day before her wedding daisy recieved a letter from gatsby. i would say that daisy did love gatsby to the extent that she was capable of but as we all know daisy is a featherhead and doesn't really care much about other peoples feelings.
Reply:I think that Daisy was too selfish to love anyone but herself. I do at some time think that she cared for him but not the way he did for her.
