The past. I think towards the end of his life she became more of an obsession than a mere love interest.
Reply:Yea, some people you just never forget. Even though they might forget you. This was the theme of the great g man. We have all tried to hook back up with that special someone we loved so much at one time in our lives, only to find out people change, and some feelings change, even if they all dont. This is a very depressing, yet very common feeling in alot of people, probably why this book is a best seller.
