Reply:Gerbera daisies like a lot of sun however, they tend to droop in extremely hot afternoon sun. They like good drainage in the soil and do not like to dry out. Mulch heavy to keep the Gerbera from drooping. Make sure you deadhead or remove the old blossoms or the plant will stop producing new buds. I love these flowers and I have my best luck with morning sun into afternoon but drooping in hot afternoon sun.
