I am trying to find out about a daisy eagle,22lr.?
I purcahsed one of those new from Walmart back in the 90's for 69.95. It wouldn't shoot. Walmart has a no-return policy on guns, But they made an exception for this one. It would of been a neat little knock-around rifle if it'd worked. I doubt they were ALL duds, some, (including yours, hopefully), are surely nice shooting guns. Mine wouldn't even dent the rim of the shell! These didn't stay on the market too long to my knowlege, and there may be some collector interest from those interested in curiosities as well as Daisy airgun collectors.

This wasn't Daisy's first try at a real gun. Back in the 1970's they produced a really neat rifle called a Daisy VL.

Avalible in both wood and plastic stocked versions, it was chambered for a propriatary .22 CASELESS round! The round was ignited by the heat from compression of air! You gave it a single pump, like a BB gun, to cock it! These actually worked VERY well and can be found at gun shows sometimes, along with vintage 70's ammo. Every once and a while, I'll see someone shoot one of these. The caseless ammo still is good after 30 years! The VL was a gun ahead of it's time. I wish they'd re-interoduce it, I think we're ready for it now. Particularly the caseless ammunition!

Keep that Daisy, it'll likely have moderate collector value in 20 years or so. Certainly if they sold for 69.95 in the 90's I bet you could get 100$ for one today because of the popularity of "Chipmunk" style mini-.22's, so it's already gained 30$ in about 10 years!
Reply:go to the actual website for Daisy, they have al of the specifications listed for each individual shooting gun.
