On Guiding Light- What do you think about Daisy being pregnant?

I know it will make for good television, but it is a little annoying. The reality is that when teens have sex, it doesn't always end in something tragic happening. What do you think?

I think Daisy being pregnant will bring about a twist in the Alan situation,.. since Little Sarah was supposed to have died, and here's another chance at another baby.. maybe he'll try to adopt the Coopers!
Reply:I think she is trying to get free health care, now she will be pissed because Bush vetoed it.



The reality is teens should not be having sex until they are married, TV should not be promoting this as acceptable.



You can call me old fashioned but you know that I am right, thanks to all the liberals that think having sex is no different than shaking hands.
Reply:Unfortunately, a lot of teens follow the same path as their mother so now we find Daisy in the same situation as Harley. It just shows that teenage pregnancy will continue no matter how much education they receive, especially since the character didn't know if a condom was used. But if this story could prevent just one teenager from sleeping with her boyfriend and getting pregnant, then maybe it's worth it.
Reply:I think it is just the same thing that happened to Harley, all those years ago! They should have used protection! I know it is just a SHOW, but it does send a message out to yong people to be safe!!

For some reason, I just feel that she is not pregnant! It was a false positive, i think, but , like you said, it makes a good story line too!!

Reply:yeah its pretty annoying but it not the worse thing that they have ever went on. what about the time when reva could travel thru pictures..geez that was a little stupid to me but i still love the show even though people die and come back the next day.... but yeah the whole daisy and rafe thing is pretty annoying!

Reply:I keep wondering...what happened to the worldly and slutty Daisy that first came to Springfield with her druggie boyfriend? Did the writers forget that particular incarnation of Daisy?



I honestly believe that most kids 14 and over know about the pitfalls of unprotected sex. Daisy isn't an innocent, so her getting pregnant is one of those "Britney" things. I hope kids who watch the show will take into consideration that bad things happen when you don't use your brain.
Reply:I feel that is an old storyline it seems on every soap that if a younf female has sex she always has to get pregnant. they need to do something new

Reply:I really think its pretty funny, they asked her about condoms and she was like I don't know. I mean come on! I thought she was all super in love with Rafe, so this should make her happy right?
Reply:I agree, Ashley pregnant by Coop, maybe would have a better storyline.
Reply:I believe that was seen coming 100 miles away. Look at her Mother, same story different time frame.
