how good r daisy rock guitars for a beginner with alot of other music experience that is learning guitar on their own?
I am mainly talking about the electric ones prefferably the Rock Candy Custom
How good are Daisy Rock guitars?
Just about any basic electric you'll pick up in a Guitar Center is fine for a complete beginner. The question becomes how far you're planning on going after you learn the basics of chords, scale forms, how to play easy songs, etc.
If you're planning on going farther AND you have the scratch to buy a better guitar, I would encourage you to invest it. There are lots and lots of reasonably priced options out there, from Ibanez, Epiphone, Fender, Schechter and others, not to mention the world of bargains you'll find in used guitars.
Personally, I'd START with used - a good old strat with some battle scars gives you instant street cred!
Good luck on picking up the guitar, and best to you.
Reply:They are not bad for a beginner. However you pay for the graphics and you will need a better one as you progress sooner. I would go for a Squire Bullet they play very well for the price and the tone is not bad. The necks are frequently perfectly straight with a small lump or two on the neck when the action is very low.
Good Luck and keep on pickin'
Reply:They are fine for about the first year of lessons. After that you'll notice the shortcomings.
Reply:They are ok for a beginner but you will out grow it quickly. It will be a waste of your money. You could spend that money on a nicer quality guitar that you could use for years! With the Daisy Rock guitars you are paying for flower graphics and sparkles.
