Can I daisy chain jumper cables to reach automobile (attach 2 cables or more by ends-grip)?

Yes you can. Try and wrap or tape the 2 jumper cables so they do not touch and spark/arc, that would be very dangerous. Also be sure that the 2 cables are the same wire gauge (AWG). While boosting you may need to rev up the engine that is running to make up for the voltage drop. Good Luck,be careful and it would'nt be a bad idea to wear safety glasses, monogoggles or even a full face shield. (also be aware of the polarity, + %26amp; - )

Yes you can but it`ll take longer to charge the dead batt too start your engine.
Reply:yes just keep positive too positive and don't let the bare ends short out
Reply:Dangerous but feasable. Good luck.
Reply:Yes, the larger the cable the better... or you can use an lod extention cord with the end cut off....just watch your polairity (+ to+, and - to - ) the smaller the conductor or wire the longer itll take to charge....

Good Luck,

Reply:Be careful. The extra length will make the wires heat up more than they are probably rated for. Monitor the temp, and only use it for the actual starting. Don't leave it hooked up for long.
Reply:As long as you keep good connections, remember that you are passing 600 amps to the starter. Try letting the one car charge the battery in the other for a while before trying to start. You could just remove your battery and start your car with the other one, as long as the alternator is good you can put your battery back in when your car is running.

Good Luck
Reply:Yes you can, but one con to it. The longer the cables the less amps that will reach the battery. You will still have voltage but the amps lose its kicking power due to the resistance and gauge of the cables. So the car you are jumping off will take longer to charge up and the cables may get warm to touch.
Reply:if its a car with a computer don't jump it it can fry it
Reply:You got lots of good answers so this is just for history. Back in the OLD days, for an emergency extension, I would set the 2 vehicles with thier metal bumpers, front bumper tight to the dead vehicles back bumper and then clip the red and the black cabels TOGETHER and run from the good HOT(red) battery connection to the red connection on the dead battery. You can turn two seperate 15 foot (red %26amp; black) cables into one usable 30 foot cable this way. And it still works on some pick-ups with metal bumpers.
