My dog Daisy eats the poo of my other dog molly. Do you know how to stop this?

Not to worry... this is a common behavior and is usually pretty easy to resolve. There are pills you can get at the pet store to feed to the dog (not the one who's eating the poop, the dog who's making the poop!) that will probably fix this problem quickly. The one I used with my dog was called "Deter".

Reply:Let your dog eat pieces of pineapple. That will do the trick.
Reply:Its common with some dogs, mainly terriers, its usually just a phase, but good luck with it.

Reply:I completely understand!!! My male eats my female's poo like it's the best thing in the entire world!!! She's a puppy so I used to think he was doing it when she had an accident so she wouldn't get in trouble, but I think he really just enjoys it now. Gross! My mom's dogs love to eat rabbit droppings in the backyard and there is no way to pick all of those up. My vet said there is something you can put on Molly's dog food to make her poo taste bad but I've wondered if it was change the taste of the food too. If you get a good answer, let me know!
Reply:Yeah, you can clean it up, but if she finds poo before you get to it, it means that there's something up with her diet. Dogs eat other poo because of the nutritional value they get from it. You can talk to your vet and change her diet to better suit her or you can try other methods. There is this product called "For-bid" which is what we suggest for the most stubborn of dogs. You can get it online. Always talk to your vet before going through with any changes in your dog's health. Good luck.
Reply:That's called Coprophagia and it can be caused from many things. One, it could be an attention-getting scheme, or he could have a vitamin deficiency.



Try giving your dog the appropriate vitamins and pick up the feces asap.

Reply:sont worry you have to teach them its wrong when its caught in the action and later on clean it up before it does
Reply:My vet gave my puppy for-bid, its pleasant tasting going in and horrible when it comes out, therefore your puppy would not be interested in it, sprinkle it on its food twice a day, but of course talk to your vet first. But both dogs must be treated.
