Daisy powerline 901 or the remington airmaster 77?

their inside the 700 fps range.

a begginer shooter that doesn't want a weak gun.

Instead of the Powerline 901, get the Powerline 880S for half the price, same gun mechanicals inside.

I have a Crosman 2100B, which is a what the Remington is, except for the nickel plating. It is slightly more powerful, harder to load than the Daisy. Was it worth 2x the price? Not really.
Reply:Both are in the same class of air rifles. Both shoot bb's and pellets. Both shoot in the 700fps range. And both are multi pump rifles. Being both are so similar, I would say it's up to you. Not much of a difference, other than the Remington is made in China. Yes, China. Remington air guns are under the Crosman name. Crosman has it's guns made by the Chinese, other than the Benjamin/Sheridan labels which are still made in America. All of their other guns are Chinese made. So much for "made in America."
Reply:for shooting paper targets or cans, either would be ok, but if you plan on doing some REAL hunting, I would suggest , at least a .22 caliber rim fire rifle.
